Bubble in the Forest Cafe Bangkok Booking Ultimate Guide

bubble in the forest feature page

The best way to book a seat at Bubble in the Forest Café Bangkok is via an online travel agency. It is in general more expensive (~ 400 THB versus 300 THB) than booking via the official channels. However, you save lots of time going through the official Line, Facebook or even calling.

Going to Bangkok multiple times a year, I picked the café as one of my checklists on my recent visit. After all, it has a reputation as the “Maldives” in Bangkok.

The cafe opens from 10 am to 9 pm daily.

To maximize value while minimizing my expenses, I explored multiple methods to ensure a great experience at a reasonable cost.

I checked the prices on multiple OTAs including Klook, KKday, Viator, and Trip.com. I also explored the option of booking via the official channel. My conclusion is booking via agent is the best.

Booking Via Online Travel Agency

Just go to Google Bubble in the forest booking online. You will find plenty of options offered by agencies like Klook, KKday, Trip.com, GetYourGuide, and Viator.

The offers range from ~ 400 THB (~13 USD) to over 50 USD if you are looking for a pure booking option. Some OTAs like Trip.com can do it for you with around 400 THB. From the booking interface, you can easily pick the date and the location you want (including the Swing Area, the Bridge Area, the Building Area, and the bar-zone area).

Some OTAs also provide transportation services. That said, I do not recommend you to take the transport option (worse even picking the private transfer). Because the location is usually reachable by Grab or Bolt for around 300 THB from Bangkok City Center. The transportation cost by the agency is usually higher than that price. I have tested in the Cafe and it was not hard to call grab back to the city center.

How About A Day Tour Option?

If you wish to go to the Bubble in the Forest Cafe and discover other nearby attractions in one go, you may join a day tour.  In fact, I used the Klook day tour option to pack multiple cafes like Bubble in the Forest, After the Rain, and Moo Yoo in one day.

It is slightly more expensive than booking all cafes on your own, again ~ 100 THB more expensive for each café. However, I would definitely pay for this time-saving with the 100 THB,

Not to mention the drop-off point for the day tour is usually Rama 9 before 6 pm. That means you could have your dinner at the Jodd Fair Night Market.

Of course, if you love to take photos in one café for a day. Then just go with the cheapest booking option and go there by Grab.

There are also private tours for the cafe but I think it is too expensive and you don’t need someone to guide you through the cafe.

Official Booking Channel

Look, I don’t recommend but you can book via the official channels below. It saves you around 100 THB per person but you can only pay with a bank transfer (the cheapest option is to do it via Wise). You need to mention the area you want to be in (or you will just get random or the worst one).

(1) Official Line

The line account is @bubbleintheforest. Go there and provide the reservation information such as date, time, name, number of people, and the seating area.

Then you pay 300 baht per person for booking, which can be deducted for food expenses. If the deposit is not used up in the food expense, the remaining balance will not be refunded by the cafe. You may transfer the deposit through the bank app or pay through a Thai bank CDM machine (account details shown in the conversation with the cafe).

You need to reserve 1-2 days in advance before the arrival date.  You will then have a confirmation slip and you need to use that on the day.

(2) Official Facebook

You can also reserve a table through a private message on the official Facebook page. Again you need to pay a deposit of 300 baht per person for table reservation, which can be deducted for food expenses.

(3) Phone

You book via +66 65 727 6888 but that seems to be even more troublesome, not to mention the cost for international calls.

How About Walk-in?

Yes, it can be done especially during weekdays. However, I would not risk it as a grab trip is around 300 THB not to mention a one-way trip is 30 – 40 minutes.

Not to mention you cannot pick your preferred area in advance. I come for a photo and I suppose you are the same.

Reservation Time and Dinning Time

The table will only be reserved for 15 minutes. If you are late over 15 minutes, your reservation will be automatically canceled and the deposit will not be refunded. So make sure you arrive there earlier.

The good news is there is no restriction on dining time. So you can stay there for a day with that 300 THB only (for me I think 2-3 hours is more than enough).

Which Area shall I reserve?

My recommendation is to go with the Swing Area, followed by the Bridge Area, the Building Area, and the Bar-zone Area.

What If I cannot Pick My Favour Area?

Well, technically you can move around to other areas for photos. Just be mindful not to disturb other customers. For details, you may want to check our Bubble in The Forest Café Review (in preparation).
