Welcome to the Vietnam Disney, this Vinwonders Nha Trang Review will equip you with the necessary information to navigate this mega theme park.
It is probably the most comprehensive and best-value theme park in Asia. Why?
Because it offers you an experience of animal safari (/zoo), gardens, aquarium, waterpark, thrill rides, and immersive attractions in just one ticket.
First, Vinwonders is a giant amusement park located on an isolated island of Nha Trang called Vinpearl. While Vinpearl contains multiple attractions including a golf course, shopping malls, restaurants, events and of course the theme park, it is two separate items and people usually get confused about it due to lack of information on the internet.
I got confused in the first place and thought I needed a ticket to get into Vinpearl which includes Vinwonders. But it is not true. You only need a cable car ticket to land the Vinpearl and Vinwonders requires a separate ticket. I will talk more about it during the how-to get there session.
Adding up the complexity, there are three Vinwonders in Vietnam namely Vinwonders Nha Trang, Vinwonders Hoi An, and Vinwonders Phu Quoc, making it harder for you to locate the information.
So Our Vinwonders Nha Trang review is to help you get the most from your experience.
There are 6 areas in the Theme Park
Unfortunately, the official site of the amusement park does not provide a detailed sitemap. Instead, let me provide a high-level overview of each area.
As you can see from the theme park map below, the park has six areas: FairyLand, Adventure Land, King’s Garden, World Garden, Sea World, and Tropical Adventure.
Just a side note for you the map (from item 79 – 83) grouped under Vinpearl Harbour is not the Theme Park area. You see it is a huge park that’s why you will need our Vinwonders Nha Trang Review.
Overview of each of the areas with suggestion
Vinwonders Area | Features | Remarks | Opening hour |
FairyLand | Disney-like immersive rides and a game center including multiple VR games. | Suitable for families with kids for a fantasy experience. Also, note that the signature rides Zipline and Alpine Coaster are also located here. | 9 am – 7 pm 7 pm onward is for the Water Fountain Show and Tata Show only |
Adventure Land | Most Thrill rides concentrate on these areas including Giant Sky Chaser, Mine Adventure, and Sky Drop. | Although the session specializes in thrill rides, the rides are not that intensive. | 9 am – 7 pm |
King’s Garden | The safari/zoom inside the park offers animal exhibitions including tigers, white tigers, lions, rhinos, different birds, monkeys, and giraffes. It is a lot smaller than the safari world Bangkok but it seems to be more ethical. | At the Giraffe session, you can pay 40k VND (~ 1.5 USD) for feeding the giraffes. The area may take you 30 minutes or so. | 10 am – 5:30 pm |
World Garden | Multiple greenhouses for plant exhibitions. | Depending on your love for plants. If you are an ordinary tourist like me, probably 30 minutes or so shall cover this session. However, remember to take the Wheel of Fortune (Sky Wheel)nearby which is the top 10 in the world with scenic views. | 10 am – 6 pm |
Sea World | A small area in between FairyLand and Tropical Adventure. The aquarium is no match compared to Ocean Park in Hong Kong but still a decent one | The area is easy to navigate with a signature aquarium which shall take you less than 30 minutes. | 9 am – 7 pm |
Tropical Paradise | The waterpark | It is a large water park that deserves a day It has a beach for different adventure activities, plus different water slides and tube slides. Again despite the size is not as large as the Atlantis adventure in Dubai it is sizable enough to take you half day | 9 am – 5:30 pm Locker closure time 6:00 pm |
How to get to Vinwonders Nha Trang
To get to Vinwonders, you have to get to the Vinpearl (this is where the theme park is located). The cable car is also the most popular way to reach the theme park because of its scenic view. The duration is around 8 minutes. From the official website, it says it operates 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. daily but the last ride is usually at 9:45 pm.
A round-trip ticket for the cable car is around 150,000 VND (~ 6 USD). For details, you may refer to the official website (Vinpearl cable car: Location, features, tickets, and more (vinwonders.com) ).
If you are buying the Vinwonders ticket in advance or using travel agency packages like Klook, KKday, or Viator. The cable car ticket is usually included. The cable car is also situated next to speed boat terminal to resort like Hon Tam.
Alternatively, there is also a speed boat running to the Vinpearl from the Nha Trang main island. However, price information is relatively uncertain but should be around 200,000 VND for a round trip. Some travel agencies include that in the package.
How much time do you need for the theme park
You need at least 1 day to get a fairly full experience with the park. Unlike other theme parks, Vinwonders groups everything into one ticket. For example, if you like water activities and water rides, you could spend more than a day at the Tropical Paradise.
It is not the theme park where you can easily speed-run. I tried and kinda regret not spending the full day.
So the Park can entertain you well even for 2 days.
So getting there at 8:30 am til the end at 8 pm seems to most optimal option to get the best value.
What ticket should I choose?
You should choose a full-day ticket to enjoy the most from the park.
There are various options for Vinwonders tickets from the official website. You may find it in the below table. It is worth noting that all tickets include a round-trip cable car. Unfortunately, the official website did not clearly state that.
Item | Adult | Children | Remarks |
Vin wonders standard admission ticket with a round-trip cable car | 950,000 VND | 710,000 VND | Most recommended ticket |
Vin Wonders standard admission ticket with round-trip cable car with unlimited access (1 day) | 1,050,000 VND | 781,000 VND | Optional if you live at the Vinpearl hotel |
Vin wonders standard admission ticket only after 4 pm with round-trip cable car | 660,000 VND | 500,000 VND | Usually part of a day tour combo from a travel agency. Not recommended due to limited time |
Vinwonders Tata Show Only ticket with round-trip cable car | 290,000 VND | 260,000 VND | Not recommended as the show is best enjoyed after a day in the theme park |
There is one thing the official website or even travel agency would not tell you. That is, if you purchased the admission ticket after 4 pm only (which is likely the case if you use a day tour combo package with other attractions like mud-spa).
You can actually upgrade the 4 pm after ticket to a full day by paying the difference net of the cable car fee. For example, I paid 140,000 VND to upgrade my 4 pm after ticket to a full-day ticket. This is exclusive in our Vinwonders Nha Trang Review.
Top 5 shows in Vinwonders Nha Trang
The Tata show is a signature show that you must go. Ranking after that should be the Waterfountain Show, Mermaid Show, Stunt Show, and Fish Feeding Show.

Vinpearl Stunt Show | It’s not a Vinwonders show but a free show offered by Vinpearl | Marina Bay with around 10 minutes walking distance from the cable car station | 9 – 9:35 pm | 4th ranking a free show provided by Vinspearl. It is worth going there but you must be aware the last cable car is 10 minutes after the show at 9:45 pm. |
Top 5 rides in Vinwonders Nha Trang
There are over 100 attractions in the Vinwonders. You may find our top 5 recommendations for rides below.
Item | Description | Location | Ranking & Remarks |
Zipline | World record zipline being the longest and steepest | Fairy Land point 13 (don’t get confused about 13.1 the departure place and 13.2 the arrival place) | 1st ranking. It is the most popular ride in the park. I didn’t get to play it as it was full. If you want to give it a try better go for registration once you enter the park. No extra fee is required. |
Alpine Coaster | 1865-meter-long ride | Fairy Land at point 14 | 2nd ranking ride. Again suggest going there early otherwise the waiting time could be 2 hours in the afternoon. |
Sky Wheel | Top 10 in the world with an altitude of 120 meters | World Garden Point 44 | 3rd ranking given its scenic view of Vinpearl as a whole and high altitude. A round of sky wheel is around 20 minutes. |
Flash Flood | One of the fastest carpet slides in Asia | Tropical Paradise at point 56 | 4th ranking given it is probably the most exciting carpet ride in Asia. |
Tata World River Adventure | A scenic slow ride | Fairy Land at point 09 | 5th ranking given its relaxing storytelling environment that would equip you with some backdrop of the Tata show later on |
Other points regarding Vinwonders Nha Trang that you may want to know
As the last part of our Vinwonders Nha Trang Review, there are other points you may want to know. First, there is a buggy car going around the park at around 30-minute intervals. Each ride would cost you around 100,000 VND and you will need to buy the ticket in advance. It is not recommended if you can walk fast, given there is no time saving if you have to wait for the car.
Second, the food and water prices are very affordable in the theme park. It is only around 20,000 VND (even for a can of local beer) for water, soft drinks, and beer. The cheapest store should be the one at the street food session near the park entrance. It is the best place to grab a beer and enjoy the Tata show at night.
Alternatively, there is also one Starbucks and highland coffee inside the park.
For food, there are Vietnamese, Korean, and international restaurants inside the park. The price is around 30 – 50 % higher than Nha Trang mainland. For example, a burger set is around 250,000 VND (~ 10 USD). Despite the premium, it is still very affordable.
You cannot bring your own food or beverage to Vinwonders or Vinpearl. There will be staff conducting bag checks at the cable car station. Having said that, they do not check really thoroughly. So sneaking some small amounts shall be fine.
Lastly, the park is not very crowded even during peak season. So, other than the top rides like the Zipline and Alpine Coaster, the waiting time for all attractions is less than 15 minutes, making it one of the best theme parks in Asia.
Conclusion:
I hope our Vinwonders Nha Trang Review could help you preparing your trip. Especially, you should buy a 1-day ticket to enjoy the most from it. I did not do the full day and kinda regret it. I hope you will not share the same regret.
Remember not to miss the cable car at 9:45pm and you may even want to conclude your day with a drink at Nha Trang main island.
Please leave me a comment. I will probably also make a review on the waterpark itself soon.
