I had a wonderful buffet at Café 103 (the Ritz Carlton Hong Kong Buffet). It is not only the tallest buffet in Hong Kong but probably the best-valued one I have ever had. I couldn’t believe I spent only ~ 64 USD for a dinner buffet at one of the most luxurious hotels in Hong Kong.

The Ritz-Carlton buffet in Hong Kong offers a dining experience on the 103rd floor of the tallest building. Despite being the most luxurious buffet in Hong Kong, the price is not expensive. An online platform like Klook offers 25% + discount. Sometimes, during flash sales, the price can even be as low as ~ 64 USD.
Ritz Carlton Hong Kong Buffet Price
The hotel offers both lunch and dinner buffets at its restaurant on the 103rd floor. The regular price for the Ritz-Carlton lunch buffet ranges from ~81 USD on weekdays to ~ 98 USD on weekends. For dinner, the buffet ranges from ~ 115 USD on weekdays to ~ 120 USD on weekends.
Instead of the normal price, from time to time, there are various promotions. For example, at the time of writing, the official website is offering a 20% discount on both lunch and dinner buffets.
However, the best way to book the Hong Kong buffet is actually via an online travel agency platform like Klook. It usually offers discounts way lower than the official price (even counting in official discount). For example, the platform was offering a 25% discount for both lunch buffet at ~ 69 USD and dinner buffet at ~ 98 USD compared to the 20% discount from the official website.

Café 103 Buffet Food Review
As the signature buffet of 5 5-star hotel, Ritz Carlton offers a lot of great options, including cold plates like fresh seafood and sashimi; hot dishes like lamb chop, steak, Cantonese Siu Mei like roasted duck and BBQ pork and scallops; dessert like different kind of cakes and seasonal fruits.
Other than that, the hotel also promotes different buffet themes from time to time. For example, in 2025, they offer a “Black Diamond theme” with signature food like black truffle with lamb, spaghettis, scallops, soup, chocolate cake and etc. In 2024, they offered “Sichuan theme” such as mouthwater chicken, spicy boiled beef and dandan noodles.
Cold Plates
The hotel offers a standard, decent salad bar with fresh salads, beans, and other fiber options like red-beet roots. I would usually go for the salad bar first to ensure sufficient fiber-intake. Other than salad, you will also have a range of fresh seafood there, including oysters, lobsters, long crab legs, shrimp, and mussels.
The Japanese sashimi and sushi session is also located at the cold plate session. They have popular choices like salmon, scallop, sweet shrimp, red clam, and suft clam. Unfortunately, tuna shashimi is not available there.
Other than the salad and seafood, you will also find the bakery at the same session.
Hot Dishes
On the hot dishes, it starts with chef-cutting season with hot meats like lamb chops, steaks, and chickens. Going allow the session, you will find other hot-dish options like scallop, vegetarian pizza, burger, pork, Indian dishes, etc. At the end of the session, you will find Hong Kong-style dim sum like Siu Mai and Shrimp dumplings and Siu Mai like roasted duck and BBQ pork. Hot soups are also available in the session.

Different than other buffets in Hong Kong. Ritz Carlton hosts different themes from time to time. For example, under the black diamond theme, there are multiple dishes, including lamb chop, that are cooked with high-quality black truffle.
Dessert Session
The best part of the buffet is the dessert session. It is in the middle of the restaurant near the entrance. There, you will find over 30 varieties of bite-sized desserts available, including Truffle white Chocolate Verrine, Mango Pudding, Osmanthus Jelly, Canele, Chiense Custard Steamed Cake, and Truffle Creamed Chestnut Cake.
Other than cakes, the hotel also offers seasonal fruit like blueberries, pineapples, dragon fruit, and strawberries. Other than that, you will also find a fridge with different flavors of Haagen Dazs nearby.
Lack Of Drink Options
Overall, café 103 has the best dessert session, great hot food options with seasonal themes, and standard five-star cold plate options. Unfortunately, they don’t offer good drinks. In the buffet, you will be served with water (unlimited refill) and one tea or coffee at the end. Other than that, there are only two sweetened tea dispensers near the dessert section, and I don’t think you need more sugar with over 30 options of mini-cakes.
No alcoholic beverage is included in the buffet price. That means if you are looking for free-flow of drinks, you will need to top yourself up.
Dining Environment
Yes, the dessert season is amazing, and the seasonal themes would give you a reason to revisit, other than the best-valued price on a travel platform. However, the number one reason for going to the buffet is the dining environment.
In particular, dining on the buffet on the 103rd floor. You will find most of the positive reviews on forums like Hong Kong Tripadvisor. There, you will have a panoramic view of the whole Hong Kong including Hong Kong Island, Lantau Island and Kowloon Island side. You can take lots of great photos here.
If you are taking dinner buffet like me and arrive early at 6 pm, you will have the scenic view of this cosmopolitan city for both day and night view. During the spring session, with the haze formed, you will also have a feeling of dining cloud.
The table seating and decoration of the restaurant are also classy and comfortable. It follows a L-shape with a dessert session in the middle reception. During the spring session, as the haze settles in, you’ll experience a feeling of dining among the clouds.

The best part of having a buffet at the Ritz Carlton in Hong Kong is the view. Cafe 103 is located on the 103rd floor of the ICC building. There, you will be dining at the highest buffet in Hong Kong.
How To Get To Café 103
Ritz Carlton Hong Kong is located on the top of the Kowloon ICC building, and the restaurant, as the name suggests, is on the 103rd floor. The easiest way to get there is via MTR. You just need to alight at Kowloon station Exit C, entering the “Element” shopping mall. From Element, there will be multiple signs to guide you to the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
From the hotel lobby, you can just take the lift to the 103rd floor. The lobby of the Ritz Carlton is one level up from the elevator of Sky100.
Alternatively, you can also hail a taxi or go to the hotel lobby directly. The address is “International Commerce Centre, 1 Austin Road West, Hong Kong”.
Is It Ritz Carlton Hong Kong Worth the Price?
The answer is yes. This is also the buffet I would recommend for first-time travellers in Hong Kong. First, it has one of the best views of Hong Kong. Instead of spending ~ 15 USD for the view only on Sky100 in the same building, it is a good idea to top up for a luxury buffet as well.
The price of the buffet, especially when using the travel platform promotion, is below 100 USD. It is even cheaper than having the similar buffet in most developing Countries in Asia. Not to mention you can only find the best skyscrapers views from Ritz Carlton Hong Kong.
The food quality is up to and by far beyond standard, with a seasonal theme for the hot dishes session. It may not be the tastiest buffet in Hong Kong or the one with most food options. However, the food quality is definitely beyond average and matches the price you pay.
Location-wise, it is close to most of the Kowloon-side attractions such as the M+ Museum and Tsim Sha Tsui, and it even has close proximity to Central Hong Kong Island. It is just one MTR station from the Hong Kong MTR station from Central. It is a great idea to conclude your day in Hong Kong City Center, Hong Kong Ocean Park (at another MTR station close to Kowloon MTR station), or Hong Kong Disney (at the same MTR station line) with a hearty buffet.
Or, if you are interested in hiking in Hong Kong, it is also a good idea to have a buffet there after a family walk.
In short, I recommend you book a buffet there with the discount offered by the travel platform for a great Hong Kong journey!
